ProActive Communications is looking for smart, creative, ambitious and detail-oriented students or recent graduates interested in a challenging and rewarding internship experience.
ProActive interns join a dynamic team of communications professionals and gain real-world, hands-on experience in a fast-paced enterprise. The selected candidate or candidates will work in close collaboration with the ProActive team to support client accounts and initiatives, providing them excellent training in productivity, creativity, and leadership to prepare them for the challenges of the job market. Based on performance, ProActive Communications’ interns do have the potential to transition to full-time, entry-level positions.
ProActive currently has internship opportunities for college students majoring in journalism, government, communications, computer science, new media, or related fields. Responsibilities may include but not be limited to research, writing, graphic design, web development, social media communications, and general administrative support for ProActive’s strategic communications accounts and for VOPED, our online video platform company, www.voped.com.
The details are as follows:
• Location: Lansdowne, Virginia (Loudoun County)
• Hours: Interns are expected to give a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week with possible full-time internships available.
• Credit: ProActive will coordinate with academic advisors to ensure that college credit hours are earned where applicable.
• Compensation: Interns working full time will be paid a starting weekly rate of $400, with potential for increase based on performance.
